Trinity celebrated the 425 year anniversary of its founding recently, with Taoiseach Leo Varadkar giving the opening address.

The petition to impeach UCD’s Student Union President, Katie Ascough, has been rejected by the Union’s Returning Officer because of the absence of a signature section. The petitioner’s organisers have regrouped, and already have collected more signatures than votes Ascough received.

University of Limerick

UL this week confirmed that they would be adding 12 gender-neutral bathrooms across campus over the coming weeks, following on from a similar project in UCC.

National University of Ireland Galway

NUIG have outperformed 21 other third-level institutions to be named ‘University of the Year 2018’ by the Sunday Times. This marks the third time NUIG have been awarded this title.
